Getting Started with Mr Site
It is easy to create a professional website with Mr Site's award winning website builder tools, The Takeaway Website.
Whether you've purchased the email or the boxed version of the Takeaway Website, activating, creating and publishing your website is simple.
The boxed version contains an easy-to-use instruction manual, a CD containing the latest internet browsers, and an
activation card with your unique activation code.
If you have purchased the email version, you will receive an email from Mr Site containing a link to the latest instruction manual and
your unique activation code.
Activate your Takeaway Website by typing your activation code into the Mr Site website.
Getting started with Mr site
Choose a design
Choose from a huge selection of professional designs, then customise to make your website unique.
Number of pages
Set the number of pages on your website.
Change content
The Mr Site Editor is simple to use with familiar buttons that you may have seen in Microsoft Word.
Publish
When you're happy with your website and want to see how it looks live on the internet, click the Publish your Site button.
Log out
Securely log out of your Mr Site account when you need to.
Extras
Add widgets, a logo, change your background colour and pattern or manage your photo galleries or shops.
Pick a design
Choose from a huge selection of professional designs, then customise to make your website unique. If you are stuck for colour ideas, you can choose a pre-designed colour theme for your website. Choose from many different menu styles and position your menu horizontally, or vertically.
Background style
Pick a background colour that matches your style from our full RGB colour wheel, or pick a background pattern to customise your website further
Add widgets
Widgets can be added to your website to customise it further. Examples of Widgets are a visitor counter, clock, Google maps (to show customers where your business is situated) and contact forms.
Add a logo
Add your company logo to your website.
Publish and view
Once you are happy with your website, simply click the 'Publish' button to post it live on the internet. You can change and update your website as many times as you wish.
