The heightened activity of consumers shopping for Christmas gifts has caused dramatically higher than average month-on-month growth over HTML.
The latest figures provided by the IMRG e-Retail Sales Index, shows shoppers in the UK spent a total of £6.4 billion over the internet throughout November.
This equates to being worth £104 per person, caused by sales being up 23.4 per cent during October and by 21.5 per cent compared to November of last year.
IMRG says the impressive performance in tough economic times can be put down to factors that firms with web design can take advantage of.
Shoppers are staying away from the high-street in search of bargains on HTML.
The pending VAT increase is also playing a part, with shoppers making big ticket commitments before this comes in to play, during January.
Even if you've missed out on the Christmas rush because you've yet to
create a website, using a
website builder from Mr Site would be a great way to get set up for the January sales.
