They have a few pointers in relation to branding to help avoid unnecessary expense later down the line.
When coming up with a new product name, rank a few options in order of preference.
You may need that 4th or 5th option if the others can't be used! They may be deemed too descriptive, or already in use etc.
It's a good idea to check the name is not slang, or inappropriate, in another language.
Having done this bit of groundwork, it's still a good idea to start the trade mark clearance process before finalising any decisions.
