A new survey has found what it calls an alarming disconnect between the main political parties and UK small business.
The report, by business price comparison service Make it Cheaper, found that half of small business owners did not believe that any of the main parties' leaders cared about or understood local business.
It also found that over three quarters of small firms questioned could not name the Secretary of State for Business Peter Mandelson.
