The magazine points out that big high street names like Zara and H&M have only made use of a
website builder to make internet shopping portals in recent months.
The publication advises that UK firms copy their lead quickly, however, as the coming years might see online commerce slow, at a higher rate.
Retail Week notes that research firm, Verdict, predicts a drop of as much as 12 per cent between now and 2014.
